Stormy Hill Horse Trails has a quaint self catering cottage situated in a lush garden alongside the horse paddock. There is also The bed in the Shed for a more rustic option. Perfect for those that wish to unwind and relax in the country or come and try our wonderful horse trails. There is an abundance of birdlife and you maybe lucky to see some of our visiting wildlife.<\/p>\n

Stormy Hill Country Cottage<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\nStormy Hill Horse Trails has a quaint self catering cottage situated in a lush garden alongside the horse paddock.<\/p>\n

It has a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a single bedroom. All the bedrooms have wardrobes and mirrors. Bed linen and towels are provided.<\/p>\n

One bathroom equipped with both ball and claw bath and spacious shower. Large kitchen and dining room with gas hob and electric oven. Crockery, cutlery, pots and pans are provided. This also has a wood stove for the cooks that wish to go back in time.<\/p>\n

The living room has a wood fire and stunning views onto the surrounding countryside. A bag of wood is provided for guests to enjoy the fire.<\/p>\n

\nThis is a room with a double bed. It has a kitchenette with a kettle, cool box and two plate gas burner. Crockery, cutlery, pots and pans are provided.<\/p>\n

There is a shared shower room. Bed linen and towels are provided. There is also a wood burner in the bedroom to make things cosy. A bag of wood is provided for guests to enjoy the fire. Parking is provided in the grounds of Stormy Hill.<\/p>\n

Guest Access<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Stormy Hill Horse Trails have 20 hectares (50 acres) to explore. We will require you to sign an indemnity before venturing into any of the horse areas. Stormy Hill has a host of wild flowers and the view from the top of the hill is stunning.<\/p>\n

Interaction with Guests<\/strong><\/h2>\n

I can offer advice on where to go and things to see in the surrounding area or you can book on one of our personally guided horse trails through the surrounding countryside. I can also offer an introduction to horses and horseback riding course. There are a number of different options which I can discuss with you when you book. Alternatively I can just leave you alone to enjoy the countryside.<\/p>\n

The Neighborhood<\/strong><\/h2>\n

We are a farming area with easy access to the Midlands Meander and the Southern Drakensberg. There is an abundance of birdlife and wild flowers proliferate at Stormy Hill. The views are amazing especially when you take a hike up to the top of the hill.<\/p>\n

Getting Around<\/strong><\/h2>\n

We do not have public transport so a car is a must.<\/p>\n
